What is the Secret Sisters Society?
The Secret Sisters Society is a special opportunity to sponsor women and save a life. Since March 2003, more than 4,000 mammograms have been scheduled through the Secret Sisters Society fund. The Secret Sisters Society fund allows underserved women, ages 40-49 to receive a screening mammogram and beginning in 2011 a cervical cancer screening. These women qualify for the existing Breast & Cervical Cancer Program (BCCP) due to income, but would not receive a screening until they reach the age of 50. The Secret Sisters Society believes these younger women should have access to cancer screenings - because early detection is the key to surviving cancer.
By donating $50 or more to become a Secret Sisters Society member, you can help underserved women get a mammogram or a cervical cancer screening. You might save a life.
